Welcome to Stow House Farm Cottages

Our well-appointed and fully equipped self-catering cottages are located on a farm in a beautiful corner of rural County Durham, ideally located for visiting Durham, Newcastle and the North Pennines. We are Rachel, Craig and new son Tom plus Grandma Bern and Grandpa Stan, and  our family looks forward very much to welcoming you to Stow House.

We take pride in offering our guests a home-from-home, with thoughtful touches to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. As we live on-site we are around for help of advice if needed, or we can be as quiet and unobtrusive as house-elves if you’ve come for peace and quiet!

We moved here to realise a long-held dream of living in wonderful countryside and would love to be able to share what we’ve found with you.
